The GYSPOT BP.LCX was the first GYS resistance spot welder brought to the United States — the machine that put GYS in American body shops. It runs an X clamp and a C clamp with C-arms (not the G-arms of today's PTI range), 13,000 A at 550 daN, liquid-cooled, and requires the GYS specialist coolant. A single-sided gun on a 3 m cable handled spot-hammer, stud/rivet/ring welding and carbon shrinking. Replaced by the GYSPOT PTI NEO.
