A bag of 6 Type B electrode caps for GYSPOT spot welders with C and X arms. Type B has the domed profile some procedures specify for coated and high-strength steels, where the smaller contact face concentrates the current for a clean nugget on thicker stacks. Like Type A it seats on the arm's tapered electrode holder, is dressed with the GYS cap dresser or sharpener blade and is replaced at the dressing limit.
