The BMW-homologated version of the GYSPOT PTI.G inverter resistance spot welder — supplied under BMW part number C7502655 for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce certified collision centres in the US (220 V configuration).
Technically this is the GYSPOT PTI.G: 14,500 A maximum welding current with 550 daN clamping force, on a 3-phase 200–240 V supply. The liquid-cooled gyroscopic G-clamp rotates 360°, coolant runs right through to the electrode caps, and in automatic mode the gun sets its own welding parameters from the steel it is clamped on — including UHSS and boron.
