Spot welder arms for GYSPOT PTI: C, G and X arms, which one fits what
Same machine, same current: the arm is what decides which joint you can reach. Three families, sorted by clamp and by reach, and the four arms most shops build around.

The arm is what lets a spot welder reach the joint. Same machine, same current, but a short straight arm welds a door skin and a 1,000 mm arm reaches a roof rail. GYS arms all clamp at 550 daN and are liquid-cooled, so the choice is about three things: which clamp family your machine uses, how deep the arm has to reach, and how much opening you need around the flange. This guide sorts the C, G and X arms on this store by those three things.
Three families, one rule: the arm must match the clamp
Each product page lists the machines the arm fits. If your machine is not on the list, do not force it: a wrong arm does not seat on the clamp taper and the coolant ports do not line up. The GYRO 360° PTI C arm ($378) rotates the gun around a C arm for awkward angles.

C arms for BP.LCX and PTI S7
The C family covers the same reach steps for the older clamp. Stock on these is lower than on G arms because the machines are older; where a C arm shows as sold out, the page takes a reservation and we bring it from GYS France.

Looking after an arm
Arms fail at the electrode, not the arm. Keep the right caps and electrodes for each arm, change the coolant hose at the first leak, and use the C arm locking pin ($26) rather than improvising. A seized cap should come off with the cap remover, never a hammer.
All arms are in the arms collection, each with its fit list, and ship from California with the 2-year GYS warranty. For an arm matched to a specific OEM joint, call (415) 419-5824.
